Candle Making Workshops in Massachusetts

A candle making workshop is more than just a creative activity. It is a chance for people to slow down, spend time together, enjoy a hands on experience, and leave with something they made themselves.

At Dala Natural, I offer different candle making workshops for private groups, team building activities, birthday celebrations, community events, family gatherings, holidays, and special occasions. Each workshop has its own style, so groups can choose the experience that feels right for them.

All workshops use clean materials, including soy wax and fragrance oils that are Paraben Free and Phthalate Free. The Decorative Candle Workshop also includes beeswax. Workshops include setup, guided instruction, all materials needed for the activity, and cleanup.

Workshops can take place at our studio in Westborough, MA for groups of up to 10 people, or at your location, such as a home, clubhouse, community room, meeting room, or event space.

Classic Candle Workshop

The Classic Candle Workshop is a relaxed and simple candle making experience. It is a great choice for groups that want something creative, enjoyable, and not too long.

During this workshop, each participant chooses a scent from a variety of fragrance options, chooses a color, and creates their own candle. The focus is on enjoying the process, learning the basics of candle making, and spending time together as a group.

This workshop usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

The Classic Candle Workshop is a good fit for birthday gatherings, friend groups, community events, team activities, and private group experiences.

Intention Candle Workshop

The Intention Candle Workshop is a more meaningful and reflective candle making experience. Participants choose a scent and color for their candle, and after the candle is made, they add crystals connected to what they want to invite, focus on, or grow in the coming year or new season of life.

This workshop creates space for reflection while still keeping the experience warm, creative, and approachable. It is not only about making a candle. It is about creating something personal that can serve as a reminder of what each person wants to carry forward.

This workshop usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

The Intention Candle Workshop is especially meaningful for New Year celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, life transitions, before a move, or any gathering where the group wants a thoughtful and personal activity.

Decorative Candle Workshop

The Decorative Candle Workshop is the most detailed and playful candle workshop. It is colorful, creative, and very visual.

During this workshop, participants choose a scent and color, and then design and decorate their own candle using pre made beeswax elements. In longer sessions, the elements can be made during the workshop by the participants. The candles can be created around different themes, such as flowers, plants, ocean, hearts, holidays, seasonal themes, or another idea that fits the event.

This workshop usually takes about 2 to 2.5 hours.

The Decorative Candle Workshop is a great fit for groups that want a longer creative experience and enjoy making something personal, cheerful, and unique.
